I'm sure you've seen a lot of movies where a protagonist is blackmailed for some error in judgement. It's unusual to see the blackmailer leave the protagonist alone...he keeps coming back for more and more and sometimes still spills the beans. Usually the Protagonist has to find a way to get rid of the blackmailer or spill the beans himself.
The Devil blackmails us using guilt and a suboptimal life for sins we have committed against God. If only we'd realize that all we have to do to neutralize the power of this blackmailer is to 'spill the beans' to the one whom we've offended...God.
He's more than willing to restore us to a rightful relationship with him. 'Expose' yourself to the Father ASAP! When the blackmailer comes, it will be too late for him to threaten you with exposure of your misdeeds.
This is very true. Report yourself to God before your enemy does. Remember our God is a loving God. He has a fathers heart towards those who confess. He has made provision for this in the blood of Jesus Christ. The devil may mess you up but God will clean you and restore you. Beloved we are sitted on the right hand of God with Christ. Realise your position. Be blessed.
